Get Started

Welcome to the get started guides for the LinkIt Smart 7688 development platform. These guide takes you through the essential steps to setting up your board and running your first application.

Each guide divides the get started process into sections, described with summary steps (so you can speed through if you are already familiar with working with OpenWrt based boards) and a detailed step-by-step guide.

Select the board you'll be working with:

LinkIt Smart 7688

The LinkIt Smart 7688 development board uses MT7688AN as a standalone MPU.

Application development in Python, Node.js and native C is supported.

LinkIt Smart 7688 Duo

The LinkIt Smart 7688 Duo development board uses MT7688AN as its MPU, complemented by an ATmega32U4 MCU.

In addition to application development in Python, Node.js and native C for MT7688AN, applications for the MCU can be developed using the Arduino IDE.
